Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

I am Leo Di Lux, an author of dark historical thrillers. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this site collects and what happens to it.

What I collect

When you sign up for my newsletter or claim a free book, I collect your email address, the first name you choose to give, and basic signup context such as which page or advertisement brought you here. The site may also use standard analytics and advertising cookies, including the Meta pixel, to measure how people find these pages.

What I use it for

Your details are used to deliver the books you request, to send you my newsletter, and to let you know about new releases, campaigns, and offers from me. Nothing else. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and I do not send email on behalf of anyone but Leo Di Lux.

Who processes it

Your data is stored and processed by the trusted services that run this operation: Kit (email newsletter platform), BookFunnel (book delivery), StoryOrigin (promotional book delivery), and Vercel (website hosting). Each processes your information only to provide their service to me, under their own privacy and security commitments.

Your rights

Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works immediately. You may also ask me at any time to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Contact

For anything relating to your data, write to me at hello@leodilux.com and I will respond personally.
